Weaving on a Handheld Loom

Meeting Place: Museum
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Admission: Free
Weaving was an important skill to have in the 1800s. Without it, people wouldn’t have been able to make the fabric they needed for clothes, blankets, or any other textile that was essential for their survival. Learn about weaving and how to weave on a handheld loom by making your own textile creation, such as a bookmark or a friendship bracelet. Materials will be provided.
