Bean Festival & Championship Outhouse Races
The 38th Annual Bean Festival features artisan crafts, live music, and lots of great food and entertainment in downtown Mountain View and at the Ozark Folk Center (1.2 miles north of the square). Events on Saturday at the court square in Mountain View include the pinto bean and cornbread cook-off, followed by the most unique spectator
sport in the Ozarks: the Arkansas Championship Outhouse Races.

The Artisan Craft Village will be open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday during Bean Fest. Activities throughout this weekend include hands-on programs featuring heritage crafts such as corn shuck doll making, letterpress printing, weaving, and more.
