DeGray Lake Resort State Park Finishes DeRoche Ridge Campground Renovation
Reservations Can Be Made Beginning Next Week

The DeRoche Ridge campground renovation project has been completed at DeGray Lake Resort State Park. The camping area has been entirely renovated with 25 sites being upgraded to Class “AAA” and six walk-in tent sites.
The DeRoche Ridge campground will open to the public on Thursday, March 1, 2018. The park will begin taking reservations at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Reservations can be made several ways including by calling DeGray Lake Resort State Park at 501-865-5810, calling the reservation toll free line at 877-879-2741, going online to www.degray.com or www.arkansasstateparks.com, or in person at the DeGray Lake Resort State Park visitor center. The call center is available to take reservations from 7:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and online reservations can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The upgrade includes amenities such as 50/30/20 amp electric, sewer, water, a fire ring, a pedestal grill, and picnic table. The sites have been leveled, tent pads added to every site, and landscape blocks have replaced the wooden timbers. Three sites have been converted to pull-through and two sites have been designed as ADA accessible. Each walk-in tent site has a tent pad, picnic table, fire ring, and pedestal grill. Shared water service is also available and two of the sites have been designated as ADA accessible.
The DeRoche Ridge bathhouse also received a facelift with new paint, a newly resurfaced floor, and all new dividers and fixtures. The road through the camping area was rebuilt including a wider, more level turnaround at the point. The new road also has additional parking for vehicles and boat trailers.
