What to know

** An Arkansas State Parks Monument Trail**

It is mandatory for bikers to ride this loop in a counter-clockwise direction. Karst Loop offers mountain bikers and hikers short climbs and descents on the east side. Along the lake on the west side, watch for unique rock formation s and scenic views of Beaver Lake. Geologists call the water soluble limestone here "karst." Examine these rock outcrops and you may find that they contain fossilized sea life from when this region was covered by the ocean.
