Learn how to recognize the signs of past forest events like windstorms and fire, how the forest is poised to replace itself in the future, and how to recognize tree species by their bark and habitat, even when felled long ago. Following the indoor program there will be an optional easy guided hike on the Pigeon Roost Trail lasting an additional hour.
